DIAGNOdent

Rather than probing for tooth decay by pressing on a tooth’s surface with a metal instrument, we can search for structural damage with a gentle laser. The DIAGNOdent system painlessly scans teeth with a beam, searching for sub-surface weaknesses caused by decay, as well as areas of demineralization, which are prone to future decay. The earlier we find decay, or even potential for decay, the more conservative treatment we can offer.

Digital Radiography

We have equipped each exam room with powerful digital radiography systems, which let us take instant X-ray images of your mouth without harsh developing chemicals and with less radiation exposure. You can see the X-ray images on a chairside computer monitor almost immediately. We use these images to diagnose problems and show you where those problems are located.

Intraoral Cameras

An intraoral camera relays clear, full-color images from inside your mouth to a chairside monitor. With this powerful technology, we not only view close-up pictures of your mouth for accurate diagnoses, but we also share the diagnostic process with you. Best of all, the non-obtrusive camera wand rests comfortably in your mouth so you can actually enjoy the experience.
